THANK GOD!!! Updated

I am so happy! Nothing but good can come from this. I happy for so many reasons. I think he is going to make a real change for all of us. I think that he has a great plan for fixing the economy, health care, environment, education and foreign relations. I know that most people are going on and on about him being the 1st African American to become president and I think that is great, but that isn't why I voted for him. I voted because he inspired me, stirred my soul. He will make intelligent, logical, reasonable, rational decisions to fixed our wonderful nation.

I'm glad the racial ceiling has been broken. Now I would like to see the glass ceiling, the gay ceiling, the elderly ceiling, the religious ceiling and every other ceiling shattered. I just hope it doesn't take as long.

California voted yea on prop 8 and Arkansas says that an unmarried person cannot adopt a child. So it appears that if you are gay, you aren't worthy of being married and if you are single, you would make a rotten parent. Never mind that my cousin would have made some man a wonderful husband. Let's ignore the methed out crazy people with children. My cousin can't get married and I can't adopt a kid. Looks like those ceilings are going to be up for some time to come. Gonna have to keep wishing, hoping, praying and screaming for change.
