Vagina Dentata

Scary huh?!? Especially if you are a guy but could you imagine being a girl and finding out you have this!!! So this past weekend, I watched Teeth. Talk about laughing my ass off! My God it was hil.ar.i.ous! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes a good dark comedy.

I also watched a couple of typical horror movies. Timber Falls was alright. As usual, it could have been great but some where along the line, the writer/director/producer thought they knew what they were doing and completely screwed the film with the ending.

Another semi-good one was Rest Stop. It was not necessarily original and the acting wasn't stellar but the story line didn't completely suck. It was a bit bloody, but that kind of stuff doesn't usually bother me. You do get to see Joey...excuse me....Joseph Lawrence (from Blossom fame) gets his brains blown out. By the heroine. At his request. It took her two tries to get it right.

The Tooth Fairy was probably the worst movie I have seen in a good long while. Not only was the story line week, the actors sucked. Answer me this - Why does every writer/director/producer of horror films feel compelled to enter a sex scene? Is there some secret manual that tell these people that each film must have a boob shot? I just don't get it! In this film, two of the characters are supposed to be looking for a little girl. Instead they decided to screw on the spot! Never mind the fact that the guy's girlfriend just got hacked to pieces less than 10 minutes before. At least have some respect for the dead! Can't you wait until the sequel? Unfortunately for all movie goers out there, the writer/director/producer decided that a sequel would be a good idea.

So that pretty much wraps up my weekend. It revolved around movies and a nice fire in my fireplace. Now I'm waiting for the next episode of season 5 of Top Chef. I was a bit underwhelmed with the season opener but we shall see. It can't be all that bad. At least I don't have vagina dentata. Then again, if I could control it and use it for good, could I rule the world?
