It's Over

Thanksgiving is officially over and Black Friday is winding down. I had to work today. Actually the receptionist and the relief receptionist both wanted off, so I volunteered. I know, I know, I'm such a nice person. In reality I hate shopping especially during the holidays, so I was quite content to sit behind the reception desk at work. I brought my laptop and watched movies all day. Forrest Gump, Glory and Serenity - SWEET! So of course watching Serenity had me digressing back to Joss Whedon and his TV shows. Can I just tell you how much I love Joss Whedon! The man is fantastic. Not only did he give us

but then he took the much loved Firefly and then gives us Serenity.

I was so upset when Firefly was cancelled and so happy when I saw the first preview for Serenity. The only way I was disappointed with Serenity was knowing that it was truly over.

I think I may spend the weekend watching the shows all over again because you know that I have them all on DVD.
